Assessment Policy

How we place, check, mark and report learning across all programs.

Cách nhà trường xếp lớp, kiểm tra, chấm điểm và báo cáo kết quả học tập.

1. Placement

Xếp lớp

Placement tests are free and place the student at a starting level. They are not official exam scores: IELTS placement estimates each skill within about ±1 band; SAT placement estimates each section within about ±60 points. A teacher confirms Writing and Speaking at the first session.
Bài xếp lớp miễn phí, chỉ để chọn cấp bắt đầu, không phải điểm thi chính thức.

2. Unit quizzes and progression

Bài kiểm tra cuối unit và mở khoá

Every unit ends with a short quiz in Moodle. Passing it unlocks the next unit. Each program sets its pass mark (SAT units: 70%). A student who does not pass reviews the lesson and retakes the quiz.
Mỗi unit có bài kiểm tra ngắn; đạt mới mở unit tiếp theo. Chưa đạt thì ôn lại và làm lại.

3. Writing and Speaking

ESL: teachers give feedback on speaking and writing. IELTS from Target upward: submissions are first marked by AI against the IELTS criteria, then reviewed by a teacher — every milestone task plus a random sample at Target, and every task at Elite and Master.

4. Measuring real progress

IELTS: full mock tests at set milestones, reported skill by skill. SAT: an official Bluebook practice test every 4 weeks. We report each skill or section separately, never just one overall number.

5. Moving up a level

Lên cấp

A student moves up when all units of the level are complete and the advisor confirms readiness from unit results, mock or practice tests and teacher feedback.
Hoàn thành mọi unit và được cố vấn xác nhận đủ năng lực.

6. K–12 credits and transcripts

Tín chỉ và bảng điểm K–12

Students need 24 credits to graduate. Course grades are recorded by the school of record, and the grading scale of the school that issues the diploma applies; your advisor shares it at enrolment.
Cần 24 tín chỉ để tốt nghiệp; thang điểm theo trường cấp bằng.

7. Academic honesty

Trung thực học thuật

Work must be the student’s own. AI tools may be used only where a task allows it. Copied or AI-generated work submitted as the student’s own is not marked and the advisor contacts the parent.
Bài làm phải của chính học sinh; chỉ dùng AI khi bài cho phép.

8. No score guarantees

Không cam kết điểm

Bands and score ranges on our pages are planning targets. Results depend on starting level, study hours and effort; we never promise an exam score.
Band và khoảng điểm chỉ dùng để lập kế hoạch; nhà trường không cam kết điểm thi.
